As was to be expected,the post-industrial society is a catastrophic failure in Western industrial civilizations dependent on manufacturing and exports to exist. The Death of American Manufacturing. (1) “For half a century American manufacturing has dominated the globe. It turned the tide in WW2,helped rebuild Europe [...] Good parents want success for their children and in Victoria the answer was selective entry government schools where entry is by exams. These schools are being targetted by Asians who are put off by high fees in private secondary schools and are flocking to public selective secondary schools because of their outstanding academic results. (1) [...] In the 1930′s the cry was ‘get the people back to work. Start up the factories’. Now Western civilisation,which is based on industry,has no industry.
