No one is more arrogant than an English intellectual,only they love the World and only they and their acolytes are capable of bringing peace on Earth and prosperity to all mankind. Their latest attempt in England under New Labour has resulted in the collapse of that society into a soft tyranny ruled by an army of Left wing quasi police enforcing political correctness and multi racialism,only second to the soft communism of Sweden.
Australia is not free of these creatures. Under the heading “Maintain the rage at Howard’s Praetorian guard”,Dennis Glover,The Australian,16 June 2010,p.12,is obviously afraid that Rudd has made such a mess of things that the Labor party could be thrown out of office after only one turn.
Glover deplores Rudd bashing even though it is merited. He admits to being a progressive and a government supporter. He says of David Marr,“He is a journalist and it’s his job to investigate and criticise,not worry about the consequences but where are the governments supporters?,many have been strangely quiet,even hostile. They ought to get vocal,because there’s a lot at stake.”
What he thinks of himself is obvious he says there is a profound moral difference between “those who try and fail to do good and those who stroke the fires of prejudice and ignorance”. He of course is in the first category. What upsets Glover and what does he support? He gives us some guide to this and asks us to think about. The apology of Kyoto,Public schools,Public hospitals and Public housing,refugees and climate change. The SAS boarding the Tampa,The Liberals refusing to walk across the bridge or say sorry?
We did not sign Kyoto!
He wants his tribe to maintain it’s rage.
He obviously wants us to be like the E.U. which according to Bjorn Lomborg in The Australian,15.6.2010,p.8.,says,“Unfortunately,it seems Europe has decided that if it cannot lead the World in prosperity it should lead the World in decline. By stubbornly pursuing an approach that has failed spectaculary in the past.” Europe has decided to cut back the use of fossil fuels without practical alternatives,which is a recipe for economic stagnantion”.,even though China and India refuse to do so. They refuse to consign their population to continued poverty to solve a problem the rich countries have created.
Most of Dennis Glover’s initiatives are for the benefit of other races,people like him never think of how to create wealth,just spending what other people create. Typical of the Loony Left! We do not need politicians who want,like Malcolm Fraser,Tony Blair and Brown,to save the World,saving Europe from itself is enough. We must stop Australia going down the same path. If Europe and America fail,China will not need our minerals and we will go down as well.
