In Europe only Germany has kept it’s industry and escaped the worst effects of the post-industrial revolution.
Socialist dogma after WW2 demanded that the West share it’s affluence with the third world,it did not say that the cost to us would be a dramatic fall in our own standard of living.
Western civilisation was created by the the industrial revolution and our civilisation cannot exist without industry. We will never escape this recession until we keep our industrial secrets from Asia and protect our exorbitant wages with high tariffs.
The future of our society lies in automation taken to the extreme,the day of the low paid and under educated worker is past if we are to restore our civilisation to new glory.
The belief that Asia will continue to accept our worthless paper currency in exchange for their industrial products is stupid.
Trade is a two-way affair and we have nothing to barter. When Europe and America can no longer buy Chinese goods Australia’s economy will be finished unless we industrialize our economy.
