The French have had enough of assertive migrants trying to impose their values on the host nation. (The Guardian Weekly,22.1.10,p8)
“France,which regards itself as the cradle of human rights,is moving to impose legal restrictions on Muslim women who wear Afghan style burkas or other full face veils”. The restrictions are in response to resentment in France and other European countries over the growing visibility of Muslims,immigrants or locally born,on a continent with ancient Christian roots.
“Andre Gerin a French MP who recently completed six months of hearings on the Burka controversy”said “full face veils were the visible tip of the Islamist underground that threatened the French way of life”The “gurus”behind the veils were trying to impose Islamic law on French society threatening male doctors who attempted to treat the pregnant wives or daughters of Muslims.
What should we do with people like journalist Sally Neighbour ,The Australian,1.2.10,p.9,who threatens us by saying “the attempt to destroy it transforms the veil from clothing into a symbol of political resistance in Iran”when the Shah attempted to modernise his country and led to his fall.
This journalist Sally Neighbour says that the Burka is centuries old and that some Australian born Muslims who now wear the burka would refuse to give it up.
Perhaps Neighbour should consider the reaction these symbols of an alien invasive culture has on many white people. To these people the symbols provoke anger,revulsion and animosity. What ever Neighbour believes this country is still a white Christian country and if called upon many would fight to keep it so.
Any migrant or Australian born Muslim who refuse to follow our laws should be genetically tested for race and area of birth and deported to that area as was done by Finland. As for Neighbour she obviously would wish to live in a strict Islamic culture.
Treason seems to be an out dated concept in our present socialist and small ‘l’liberal society but should Muslims change from passive resistance to actively attempt to enforce their way of life then those white people that support them must be dealt with under the law in military courts.
