Globalism; At Copenhagen the World passed an historical milestone.

Copenhagen was a turning point in World history where, for the first time, the emerging power of China as leader of the third world outvoted the U.S. and the unreliable votes of anti-America Europe on a major U.N. issue, binding commitments to limit greenhouse gas emissions.

45,000 people attended this absurd summit many of whom “were unelected, unrepresentative, undemocratic, unaccountable non-governmental organisations”.
(The Australian,24.12.09.,p.10 Greg Sheridan.)

The Africans as usual had nothing to contribute except noise and the usual demand for more aid.

America may still have the strongest armed forces in the World but she is in hoc to China for much of her manufactured goods now made there after her intellectual elite gave away much of her industry to China and the third world under the policy of “the post industrial revolution”.

Building houses for immigrants and her impoverished masses will not help the U.S. fill her empty coffers with foreign currency and the Chinese will not for ever buy her increasingly valueless bonds.

As the U.S. and Europe decline in power China becomes bolder. She is strongly nationalistic and as Tibet shows, expansionary.

The contempt with which she treated Obama when he tried to control the agenda in Copenhagen and the outcome of the conference, shows just how far they will go to test America. Obama retaliated by bursting in on a private meeting between China,India,Brazil and South Africa demanding the right to take part.

The gloves are off between these two protagonists. There will be no neutrals in the coming contest for control of the World so God help the rest of us.
