Much has been written on the Sri Lanka situation. Here we are not interested in the internal politics of that country. Headlines have proclaimed a coming “refugee catastrophe”. All matter of do-gooders,human rights industry types and so on have wanted to get into the camps,so that the West would be forced to take hundreds of thousands of refugees. Fortunately,the government is restricting access to the camps. This is the best thing for everyone. The migration lobby can turn its attention to some other crisis. The media can focus on something else. We can forget these people. Let Sri Lanka sort out Sri Lanka’s own troubles. Brutal attacks have already occurred in Sydney. Do we want more of the same.
(I sometimes wonder skip if the Western people of the Western world want their own countries to have normality and peace because if they did those guys and occasional molls at the top would not be there,ed.)
