Heads of the major American banks bailed out by Congress were brought before Congress to account for their stewardship of the money given to them;apologized for their past misdeeds and their vast bonuses. Their contrition was shown on television but few Congressmen believed them,all they want is more money and the only way that they can prove that they are contrite is for all the the bank boards to resign en masse.
Morality and ethics are in short supply in our world. We no longer trust the church or the law to maintain previous standards. Turning to Islam or the human rights lobby is not the answer. A tyranny run by Islam or the law would be the end of us.
