When communism came to an end,Russia broke apart. The Baltic states,the Ukraine and Eastern Europe all gained independence and in Southern Russia many oil rich Muslim states attempted to obtain their freedom.
Many break away states contained large numbers of Russians,about 25 million in all,and these Russians want to return to Russian control.
In Georgia two tribal groups in South Ossetia and Abkhazia want independence from Georgia. Prompted by America,Georgia attacked them,Russia came to their aid,and the rest is history. The question is why is America so interested in Georgia and the answer to that is simple. Russia and the Caspian area are the last World areas with large known oil reserves. Russia has very large areas of undeveloped farm land and potentially large reserves of minerals.
America needs these resources and when Russia collapsed under Yeltsin the corrupt Russian oligarchs took over and American multi-national firms were in a position to move in. Putin put a stop to that but Georgia,free of Russian control,was still a window to the Caspian oil states and very important to Europe and America if they want to take control of the Caspian oil.
The war for control of the World’s resources has begun,if America and Europe attack Russia,China will also grab it’s share.
Germany,with the support of all Facist Europe,failed to conquer Russia and America and Europe attempting to take control over Russia could result in World War 3.
Russia will never forget or forgive the Clinton administration and NATO attacking President Milosevic’s Yugoslavia over Kosovo. America did not have a UN resolution authorising the attack either. (The Advertiser,1.9.2008,p.19).
The Clinton administration in 1998 fired cruise missiles at Baghad because Saddam Hussein wouldn’t co-operate with UN weapons inspectors. These attacks did not have UN authorisation.
Georgia is in Russia’s sphere of influence and she has as much right as America and the E.U. to protect her interests.
Americas’and the E.U.s’conduct can only be justified if the U.S.A. rules the World in which case our government must do what America tells it.
Of all the European nations only Russia will oppose take over by the Third World. The U.S.A. will fall by 2050 and become a non-European state. Europe and England will lose their European identity shortly after.
