Lies,damned lies and bloggers.

Mr. Kerr seems rather paranoid about bloggers,he thinks that we are intolerant and even incorrect in our discussions. He claims that we scorn any notions contrary to our group think. Even academics are attacked,they may have academic rigour,but lack real-world first-hand experience.
Some of what he says has an element of truth,but we too have complaints and it is true that we are wary of trusting the media and with good cause,Pulitzer Prize winners in the U.S.A. have been known to concoct complete stories for publication.
Kerr says “in the world of blogs there is so much righteous indignation,so much sneering superiority,so little analysis and so little humility in the search for balance,or even for further information that may enrich or enhance the views expressed”.
I did not see much balance in the reporting of the VietNam,Kosovo or Iraq wars or the across the board support for the Labor parties in Australia during elections.
The servile attitude to the Unions and the excuses for terrorist acts is a worry.
We do our best to find where the truth lies in the media,but reserve the right to be as partisan as our detractors. Without the vast resources of the media we try and find unwelcome facts hidden in tiny articles and give them air.
Even at our most arrogant we cannot match the hubris of Left wing scribes. Yes we attack America and her New World Empire;we did not fight W.W.2 to give World domination to the filthy rich of Europe and the U.S.A.
Technically America is the dominant power in military might and she has every right to protect her dominance even if her demands,(ITAR),for restricting access to her technology upsets Australia’s left wing human rights activists. We could never match America’s research and become a super power,but what worries me is,will America still bother to protect us when her dominant race is Mexican?
What will the Mexicans do with all that technology that they cannot use? Sell it to China or course.
