The Anglican Church is about to break up over the issue of homosexuality and the Western press is silent.
1,000 Anglican bishops and clergy representing 30 million of the 55 million active Anglicans worldwide,will meet in Israel to attend The Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) in June. They will boycott the Lambeth Conference because pro-gay bishops will attend.
The Bishop of Jerusalem,Subeil Dawani,was not consulted about GAFCON and says that Jerusalem is a place for all Anglicans.
Never the less homosexuality is an issue of critical importance to a majority of active Anglicans and the Archbishop of Canterbury must decide now whether the Anglican church is a vehicle for gay rights or represents the Main Stream Anglicans. Most of us do not want peace with gay activists,we want them out of our church.
