Is that cat black or white?

In a letter to the Australian,1.2.08,p.13,Tony Kelly,a Northern Territory police officer in the 1950′s,made the allegation that no full-blood Aboriginal child was ever removed from a tribal situation. Only part-aborigines were removed when their lives were in danger. This danger arose at puberty, when a man would be initiated and a female could marry. Both events required the “skin”of the Aboriginal parents be known,to know the “skin”of the pubescent child.

A part Aboriginal could not have a “skin”. The part Aboriginal female could be used by any initiated male. The “skinless”male would just quietly disappear. This is a most serious allegation that must be investigated before an apology is made or compensation given.

The politically correct would oppose any investigation on the grounds of racism. No Aboriginal can possibly be racist!

I on the other hand believe that such a view is criminal and any attempt to stop any investigation is a criminal act.
