If you want to know what globalisation is all about go to an IKEA store and see where the goods are made.
At a minimum,21 countries manufactured goods for IKEA,9 from the E.U. All items are well made to Swedish design norms and use European technology to European standards.
If you eat in the IKEA cafeteria you are expected to clear your table.
If you want cheap food, breakfast is bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes and toast $1.95,you are expected to clear up after you finish.
You want cheap and well made goods,go to IKEA,but when you look around the store count the thousands of good jobs that have left Europe and Australia and have been given to the Third World. If you are one of the inner city elite,be very pleased. If you are an unthinking unionist consider the following:
Gerry Harvey, retailer Harvey Norman boss, says “foreign guest workers paid less than award wages should be invited into Australia to preserve the nation’s economic success.”
He says Australias’prosperity was creating a labour shortage. He said Australian manufacturers were moving oversea where labour was plentiful and at a cheaper rate. IKEA.
Mr. Harvey called on the Federal Government to allow foreign workers on fixed visas to form a second tier to the labour market. Mr Harvey said life would not change under a Rudd Labor Government.
He is right,Australia does not need union labour or Australian workers under globalisation. If you want cheap and well made goods you support globalism and consider a dramatic fall in your wages or the disappearance of good blue collar jobs. Later white collar jobs will also go to migrants. Look at any TV series made in England.
We are living on the low wages of the Third World and that cannot continue.
The West dominated the planet by creating the industrial revolution and investing in our own manufacturing plants and world beating technology.
All that has been given away by the people who never created it. The inner city elite, the academics and the extreme left.
Demand of the candidates in this election whether they support the new visa system and demand a stop to migration.
The drought alone is enough reason.

Interesting point Hereward. I wonder about what BILLIONARE Harvey says to quote from http://www.news.com.au he states:”Australia doesn’t have cheap labour. Many overseas workers would be prepared to move here for a much better life and half the money Australians earn,”he said.Wouldn’t the point of living in Australia be the better life which means you enjoy the same benefits of other Australians. This almost constitutes Slave Labour! You aren’t good enough to earn the same money for the sames jobs.Obviously Billionare Harvey wouldn’t sacrifice his lifestlye but he expects other Australians to and also expects that people will “enjoy”the Australian lifestyle on far less wages. I DON’T THINK SO……
