In a new book “What’s Left?,How Liberals lost their way,” by Nick Cohen, the writer, questions why apologies for militant Islam that stands for everything the Liberal Left is against, comes from the Liberal Left.
Pamela Bone in the Australian 1.2.07 reviews the book and highlights how the Liberal Left supports the anti-war movement in Iraq but disgraced itself by not opposing the counter revolution that is destroying the country.
These people attack America,Australia and Israel but say little against terrorism in Europe,England,America and Afghanistan.
Mike Stokete (The Australian 3-4.2.07) says that David Hicks has been made into a martyr in the eyes of many Australians but an article in the Sunday Mail 4.2.07,p.13 by Piers Akerman tells the other side of the story. He lists Hicks’ active support for the Muslim invaders in Kosovo and Kashmir. Hicks has trained in Pakistan and with al-Qaida in Afghanistan before joining the battle against the Northern Alliance and later the Coalition forces. You must ask yourself if Hicks, and people who support him, will take sides with a communist or Muslim insurgency when one starts up in Australia.
Who are these people who support Hicks? They are our enemies!
An article in Time 27.11.06 gives us a clue to groups who support terrorism in the Philippines. The list is as follows, left wing activists, reporters, leftists, lawyers, labour leaders, priests, students and human rights workers.
Without a doubt similar groups in Australia have the same agenda as their brothers in the Philippines and this is shown by the bias of the ABC and the many left wing writers and programs in the rest of the media which constantly make apologies for terrorism.
In the Philippines at least 800 activists have been murdered, they have been labelled “Enemies of the State” for their alleged links to the communist New Peoples Army (NPA) an active terrorist group and the hit squads are believed to be from the army. The practice of red-labelling communist supporters, says amnesty, sends tacit signals to the Philippines military that murdering political opponents is OK.
The writer of the article is obviously a left liberal because he complains about communist sympathizers being killed but doesn’t condemn the communist insurgents for the murders they commit with bomb and gun.
I believe that anyone who supports an active armed insurrection is an enemy of the state. Free speech stops when a state of war exists.
