Vote Labor for a Muslim Australia

Bracks,the Victorian premier who is of Lebanese descent,recently instituted Religious Hatred courts in Victoria to administer the new Racial and Religious Tolerance Act,which leaders of the States main Australian churches said,in a letter to Bracks,were causing more enmity than harmony. (The Age,10.2.2006,p.6)

Christians have been concerned at several cases brought under the act,particularly a complaint by the Islamic Council of Victoria against Catch the Fire and two pastors.  The complaint was upheld and an appeal will be heard later this year.

When the main Christian churches wanted to discuss changes to the laws and the Bracks government proposed minor amendments,the Premier refused to see them.  Mr. Palmer,Presbyterian Church of Victoria ethics committee convener,said he told an official in Mr. Bracks office that the Christian leaders were speaking for the great bulk of the Christian church.  Mr. Palmer said trivial amendments will not do.  There needs to be substantial reworking of the legislation,including removal of the civil provisions and providing protection for freedom of religion.

These laws are a major attack on the rule-of –law tradition of our society,which considers the truth a basic tool for a persons’ defence in litigation.  These new laws criminalize truth.  Truth is no longer a defence.  Reading from the Koran is a criminal act under this legislation. (Prof Augusto Zimmermann).  Muslims decide what upsets them,these are Sharia law courts and Bracks and the Victorian Labor Party are anti-white and anti-Christian bigots and so are those people who support them.

Multicultural democracy is the objective of this legislation.  It is anti-free speech and in practical terms the gradual replacement of our authentic democracy by a more disguised form of elected tyranny. (Prof. Zimmermann)  Hammas in Palestine shows what will happen.

Bracks in the Age 2.3.2006,has the audacity to evoke the Eureka Stockade and the great Australian ethos of a fair go in defence of his friends the Muslims who have no idea of a democracy or a fair go and nor for that matter has Bracks.  Our Christian churches will not get any joy from Bracks they should tell their flock DO NOT VOTE LABOR.
