Islam is on the move in France (The Weekend Australian 12-13/11/2005,Mark Steyn,p.25) and demographics show it is unstoppable.  In the recent riots Muslims torched ten thousand French cars in and around Paris and the French Government did nothing;but then ten per cent of France’s population is Muslim,and more importantly,30 per cent pf those aged 20 and younger are said to be Muslim,as Michel Gurfinkiel,the editor of Valeurs Actuelles,points out “the combatant ratio in any ethnic war may thus be one to one already right now in 2005!”

The article also points out,“It is not necessary,incidentally for Islam to become a statistical majority to function as one.  At the height of its power in the 8th Century,the Islamic world stretched from Spain to India,yet its population was only minority Muslim”.  As the European population ages demographic trends will accelerate.  Why does Tony Blair want Turkey in the EU if not to make Europe a Muslim state by 2070?

The French answer to the riots was Danegeld and the English could tell them that that did not work.
