I thought that Show Trials went out of favour with Hitler,Stalin and Nuremberg?

Saddam Hussein is as guilty of Crimes against Humanity as Hitler,Stalin,Pol Pot and Mao Tse-tung.  Why spend years going over all his crimes.  Pick the worst and if he is convicted,hang him.

A long trial will not convince Arabs that he is any worse than their usual rulers and the Left-wing in politics will support him as a good socialist.

Saddam is a Sunni Muslim and he ruled Iraq for their benefit.  The Western press moans that the Sunnis were not given a major say in the new constitution but then the Western press never learns that people like the Sunnis with Arab help will again try to take over Iraq.
