Anyone who has spent time living in Islamic communities knows that like,Judaism and Roman Catholicism,Islam is a way of life more important than mere nationality.
Anglicans and Protestants wear their religion lightly and do not expect their religious leaders to become deeply involved in politics or the law. They assume that the success of their society,which has allowed them to dominate the world,is the goal of the third world and the millions of migrants who have flooded into Western countries.
The only problem is that Muslims want our wealth but reject our unquestionably decadent life style. In fact they will try and make us Muslim. Al-Qaeda chiefs plan for world domination. (The Australian,24.8.2005,p.12).
(In Victoria two clerics were brought before a Victorian court by Muslims and convicted of racial vilification for saying Islam wanted to rule the world. The judge who convicted them should be brought before the bar of federal parliament and charged with treason!)
In Europe the tide is flowing against Islam,the burqas is banned in Italy and France. A German school boy must attend co-ed swimming classes. Male applicants for Irish citizenship must renounce polygamy.
David Cameron,the British shadow education secretary defined Britishness as “Freedom under the rule of law,he added,the driving force behind today’s terrorist threat is Islamic fundamentalism the struggle we are engaged in is,at root,ideological” and Islamic fundamentalism ranks with Nazism and communism.
Geert Wildes,head of a small party in the Dutch parliament,calls for expulsion of non-citizen immigrants who refuse to integrate.
British shadow defence minister,Gerald Howarth,went furthest saying in early August “British Islamists must go to another country if they do not like our way of life and that includes British born Islamists.”
Peter Costello and Brendan Nelson are now to the right of Howard and Ruddock on Muslim immigration. Howard is out of date. All Muslim immigration to Australia should cease and all who support continued Muslim immigration should be considered a danger to our society.
In England all attempts to control immigration and implementing the war on terrorism have been stymied by left-wing judges in the High Court on the grounds of judicial independence and Human Rights acts in the U.N and E.U. Blair is now prepared to take on the judiciary and I wish him luck. The rule of law is not above the rule of our elected members.
