Who should rule our country?

Our elected representatives or the unelected judiciary?

The British government is now at war with its judiciary. The British judiciary and,in particular the High Court, demand independence from parliament which is acceptable until the judiciary interferes with the rule of parliament. The High Court now operates under the European Convention on Human rights and threw out Blair’s’ laws designed to stop terrorism. The Court ruled that they were not necessary and as a result there was a successful bombing of the underground in London with the death of over fifty people.

Blair now threatens to renounce part of the European Convention on Human Rights,Lord Carlile of Berriew threatens “If the government undermines the judiciary then the judiciary might be tempted to undermine the government!”

The answer is simple the Law Lords should be brought before the bar of parliament, the supreme authority, and ordered to accept all laws without question.
